This refreshing & restorative cream is designed for feet, but hard workers also find it wonderful on their hands.
It coats, soothes, protects and then most importantly, holds the water in your skin.
The plants were chosen to help with:

Dry & cracked skin will absorb it quickly, inviting in the relief and restoration of the organic botanicals. It helps soften and diminish callouses and relaxes tight muscles.
Peppermint gives first a cooling, then a warming feel: a great way to relieve sore, dry and cracked skin. Potent plantain and thyme increase the effect.
Lovage, a subtle & refreshing scent, blends with mint for an uplifting aromatic delight.
Give your feet & hands this luxury after a slow shower or bath. For deeper treatment, apply at night and cover with socks while you sleep. Wake to soft, conditioned and beautiful feet!

Ingredients:
Organic sunflower & grapeseed oils: creates a protective layer to external stressors & provides abundant antioxidants. Also a highly effective emollient that soothes dry skin.
Organic lovage: our star contributor toward helping increase blood flow for accelerated healing, reducing irritations & swelling, and improving skin tone. Lovage is high in vitamins and minerals, including vitamin C, B complex and quercetin.
Organic peppermint: initially contributes a cooling sensation that can help soothe irritations and itchiness. Then it warms as it helps unclog pores, boosts blood flow and calms the stress.
Organic plantain: can help heal wounds and lesions, while also moisturizing and toning the skin.
Organic thyme: contains thymol, an essential oil with potent antibacterial and antifungal properties. This helps combat skin infections, such as acne, eczema, and ringworm. Thyme is rich in antioxidants, including vitamin C and flavonoids. These protect the skin from free radical damage, reducing signs of aging, such as wrinkles and fine lines. Also particularly helpful in moisturizing flaky skin.
Organic shea butter: Further moisturizes and softens the skin.
Local beeswax: A natural moisturizer, it also provides a protective layer that seals in the moisture & guards against environmental stressors. Beeswax helps create our popular creamy texture. Thank you bees!

Silk Is Part Of Our Line Of Barabody Blends
The Barabody Blends are handmade by 3 generations of women on an organic farm hidden above the Baraboo Bluffs in central Wisconsin.
Surrounded by 9,000 acres of protected forest, this farm produces perhaps the purest moisturizers American soil has to offer.
From seed to harvest to jar, everything is done by a woman's hand.
In the Spring, they plant their seeds following organic, regenerative and mixed polyculture principles.
They keep the plants tightly spaced, applying minimal (organic) fertilizer and irrigation. This makes it harder and slower for the plants to grow. And that's the point. They become more potent, which your nose will verify the second you open your jar and inhale the glory.
They control weeds by growing "prairie plant buffers" around their growing areas. Few weeds make it through. And the wildlife loves the native flora.
Throughout the Summer, they control pests via companion planting and intimately understanding what environmental factors will deter them.
As Summer begins rounding into Fall, they decide when to harvest by walking the fields to taste and smell the plants. The aroma and taste tell you when it's time.
And then they hand-harvest only the best parts of the best plants. No filler here.
From there, each varietal is gentle-dried in the solar-powered, custom dehydrator at the optimal temperature for each varietal.
Finally, the blends are mixed and jarred on-site, ready to deliver the most potent, hydrating and rejuvenating moisturizers American soil can offer.
